EPL: MAN UTD OUT OF TOP FOUR RACE; ARSENAL NEED A MIRACLE; CHELSEA SEAL UCL SPOT
Joseph Omoniyi
Arsenal’s hope of making it to next season UEFA Champions League hit the rock after they were held 1-1 at home by Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League.
The result thereby confirmed Chelsea’s Champions League return.
Chelsea became the third Premier League club to seal qualification to the 2019-20 Champions League after they defeated Watford 3-0 and saw both Arsenal and Manchester United fail to record a win.
The Ole Gunnar SolskJaer’s sides were held to a 1-1 draw by Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday.
However, the Gunners will need more than a miracle to beat Spurs who are currently on 70 points with 28 goal difference, to the UCL spot. Arsenal are on 67 points with 20 goal difference and they visit Burnley in their last game if the season while Tottenham will play Everton at home.
