Helen Paul : I Can’t Stay Late Night at Events
The Nigerian comedy industry is arguably one industry has helped in creating employment for some talented youths in the country as they are almost seen everywhere doing the standup comedy and various skits.
The craft is not just for men alone as few women have also found wealth in the sector which is majorly dominated by men and one of such personality is actress, Helen Paul.
In an interview with Channels TV, monitored by Nigeriafilms.com the actress and comedian while discussing about the challenges they as females go through stated that they cannot keep late nights at events like the men.
She explained that as a comedian, there are limits to things she can do and hours she can spend outside because she needs to rush home to care for the family.
“Female comedians face challenges like, we can’t stay late outside like the male comedians, we can’t go clubbing, there are limit to things we can do as females and others. The truth is we can’t just stay long at what we do outside compared to the men,” she said.
