NIGERIAN ARMY REITERATES COMMITMENT TO ENSURE NATION’S SECURITY
He made this known on Tuesday at the commissioning ceremony of the Nigerian Army war college in Abuja.
He said the aim of the Army war college is to improve the intellectual capacity of the operational level of officers.
He however enjoined officers to utilize the opportunity in the college to manage the security challenges in the country.
Correspondent Marian Enakhimion report that the army chief therefore warns Officers and men not to involve themselves politics stressing that any attempt to politicize the noble profession will be strongly resisted and defaulters will be severely dealt with.
In addition, Commandant of the college, Major general John Eneche said that the establishment of the Army war college was born out of the importance to improve the operational level and bridge the strategic and tactical level.
It was further disclosed that the college was poised to be a regional center of excellence that would give professional military education to middle cadre officer as well as provide opportunity for a rethink and re-strategies on the best approach to confront security challenges.
