BBOG Group Calls on President Buhari To Put An End To The Incessant Killings By Herdsmen Across The Country
Convener of the Bring Back Our Girls Group, Dr. Obi Ezekwesili has marched in protest to the presidential villa calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to end the incessant killings by herdsmen across the country.
Ezekwesili who embarked on a solitary protest demanded justice for the dead and called on government to secure the living in all affected communities
In the statement made available to newsmen by Obi Ezekwesils during her solitary march today in Abuja, she accused the government of biase and lack of concern for the security of citizens
The BRING BACK OUR GIRLS Convener was however prevented by heavily armed security at the Presidential villa from gaining access into the vicinity.
Dr. Ezekwesili also alleged that President Buhari, is watching with consternation the criminal massacre of Nigerians especially in the first half of this year without any evidence of fierce sense of urgency on the part of his government to end the abnormality.
She therefore stressed the need for Mr President to stop the daily killings of Nigerians by the terrorist-herdsmen noting that Nigeria must not be changed into a vast killing field under his administration.
She furthe asked that president Buhari should stop rewarding the incompetence and failure of leadership of the security architecture of Nigeria, alleging that the President is biased in handling the killings and abduction of certain segment of Nigerians.
