Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly moved a step closer to joining Juventus after holding talks with manager Massimiliano Allegri.
Juventus have emerged as surprise frontrunners to sign the 33-year-old this summer following reports that he is unhappy at the Bernabeu and eager for a new challenge.
The Italian champions are understood to be in advanced talks over an £88m deal which would see Ronaldo end his illustrious nine-year Real Madrid career.
Cadena COPA reports that Juve boss Allegri has now held personal talks with Ronaldo in an attempt to convince the five-time Ballon d’Or winner to move to Turin.
Ronaldo has been with Madrid since 2009, scoring 450 goals in just 438 appearances for the club and helping them to 15 trophies.
