Students protest in unical over delay of issuing out certificate to prospect corp members.
At about 7am on Wednesday morning(today), a group of frustrated students gathered at the VC and registrar’s office, crying and lamenting over the release of their certificate so they could go for service before the close of camp as some of them were being posted to the northern area of the country.
This has caused a big steer in the school as student are seen running from one building to the other seeking solution and the head of the school are nonchalant about this.
A student was asked and she said: “we have been here for 3days and they are yet to give is our certificate. Everyday students come to school by 8am and leave by 7pm in tears with disappointment that the school said their certificate isn’t ready. We paid our fees, did all they required, even some of us travelled from far just for this certificate yet this men are toying with our future, partying while students suffer. We Are tired, we have no more tears to cry. We are stranded and all the school can say is we should go with the next batch after all the expenses, preparation and stress. It shall not be well with unical and the people doing this to us”.
This is a really sad news and we hope the cries of this innocent students don’t go unheard. This people seek employment and when they get employed, they misuse their power, frustrating students.
Let the voice of these students be heard.
