IF YOU CHARGE YOUR PHONE IN CHURCH YOU ARE A SINNER – CLERGY
A Benin based cleric and General Overseer of Bible Believers Ministry has condemned the act of charging, phones, laptops, notepads, torchlights, etc. during church services. He said it is a sin against God.
The Cleric who said this in an interview, further explained that it is an unlawful attitude and an act of godliness as the act distract the preachers.
“Sometimes when I preach on the altar, I get distracted, because I see some of my members fighting over charging points. “Am I amazed how believers of the gospel take the things of the Lord these days,’’ he said.
He however pleaded with the Edo State Government and Benin Electricity Distribution Company to endeavour to improve the quality of power supply in the state.
