Uzoho Confirms Super Eagles Blow, Out Of Action For Four Weeks

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, has ruled himself out of Nigeria’s 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations qualifier against South Africa on the 17th of November due to injury.

The 20 year old will be out for four weeks after he suffered a concussion.

Uzoho is one of the three goalkeepers invited by Gernot Rohr for the Super Eagles’ top of the table clash against South Africa at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

The Deportivo La Coruna loanee, who conceded five goals in Elche’s 5-1 loss away to Cadiz tweeted on his Twitter handle @Uzohof on Mknday: “Injury is part of the game, definitely not the best timing but there are things beyond us.
“So sad I won’t be there for my teammates for the next four weeks ?they’re more than capable to get the job done. Coming back a beast. IN CHRIST ALONE.

Rober Correa started the Cadiz’s massive comeback win in the 50th minute by canceling out Sory Kaba’s opener for Elche at the Estadio Ramon de Carranza.
Goals from Dejan Lekic, Jose Mari, Salvi, Manu Vallejo within 25 minutes wrecked Pacheta’s men and left them in the 14th spot in the Spanish Segunda Division table.
Uzoho has kept two clean sheets (vs. Malaga and Real Zaragoza) so far in three Spanish Segunda games and has conceded five goals.
