ELECTION SHIFT: INT’L OBSERVERS, UN CALL ON NIGERIANS TO SUPPORT INEC

Heads of the International Election Observation Missions and the United Nations, UN has urged Nigerians to remain calm and supportive of the electoral process as being overseen by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC who announced a new timeline for the 2019 general elections.
In a joint statement released a few minutes ago, the international observers and the UN who noted the disappointment INEC’s decision had caused many Nigerians, advised the Commission to provide regular updates and information as it works to implement the new timeline.
