‘I WILL SOLVE LAGOS TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORT PROBLEM IN 3-TO-6 MONTHS’ – SANWO-OLU

Lagos State Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu has clearly stated that the ‘traditional’ traffic problem synonymous with Lagos will be gone in his first six months in office as a governor.
Babajide made this statement while speaking on a live television show on Thursday morning.
The APC candidate said his team has been able to identified over 60 traffic problems and have devised solutions already to some of them, which will be implemented in maximum of six months of his administration if elected.
“For each of these traffic problems we’ve realised that there are specific requirements needed that are very unique. Some of them we can quickly solve to reduce the burdens”
“For some, we just need to reduce the size of the roundabouts that are actually very big. Some we need to agressively need to increase the number of traffic lights and route signatures…we have identified the setbacks. we have gotten over 60 of them and we are still doing studies and in 3 to 6 months,” he said.
He also mentioned that more BRT corridors will be opened to create ease of transportation for Lagosians.
