Tottenham Hotspur fans can now take a sigh of relief as Man United have confirmed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s permanent appointment as club manger.
The Red Devils were reportedly interested in hiring Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino before Solskjaer’s excellent run of form as United boss.
Now that the Norwegian’s position has been confirmed, Tottenham supporters can finally relax.
One person responding to the anouncement said: ‘Pochettino is officially off the board! Rejoice!’
While another person posted a picture of the Spurs manager laughing and said: ‘”Pochettino is going to Man Utd”‘
Another person showed their relief as they said: ‘Instinctively liked a tweet about Solskjaer’s appointment because it means they’ll stop yawping about Pochettino for another round. Unliked it because it was about Manchester United.’
Real Madrid have also been linked with a move for Pochettino but recently re-hired Zinedine Zidane.
