Bruno Fernandes has said he’s willing to leave Manchester United if the club needs to sell him to fund a rebuild following their Europa League final loss to Tottenham. United’s 1-0 defeat in Bilbao, with Brennan Johnson scoring the only goal, capped off a disappointing season.
Manager Ruben Amorim stated after the defeat that he would step down without discussing compensation if the club no longer wanted him.

Fernandes accepts that parting ways could happen if the club decides to sell players for financial reasons. Although he has been United’s key player this season, he struggled in their recent defeat to Spurs, which he described as a “very sad day”
He said they wanted to win more than anything in the final, and that it’s a very sad day because they had done well in the competition until now.

They believe he is the right person to lead the club in competing for major trophies again.
