The Lagos State Electricity Regulatory Commission (LASERC) has released its March 2026 DisCos Performance Factsheet, providing insights into the operational performance of electricity distribution companies in Lagos State.

The report indicates that IE Energy Lagos Ltd and Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) continue to maintain extensive feeder coverage across Bands A–E, with 11kV feeders serving as the backbone of last-mile electricity supply.

According to the findings, service delivery remains strongest in Band A, where there is high compliance with minimum service levels. Performance across Bands B and C is moderate, while Bands D and E continue to lag, highlighting areas requiring significant improvement.

The Commission identified key challenges affecting service delivery, including overloaded transformers and the urgent need to upgrade injection substations, despite the availability of existing network capacity.

LASERC reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing regulatory standards, strengthening oversight mechanisms, and encouraging investment aimed at improving electricity reliability across Lagos State.
