NEVER EVER COMPARE MESSI WITH RONALDO AGAIN! – MARIO BALOTELLI FIRES
Joseph Omoniyi
Italian striker and former Liverpool player, Mario Balotelli has showered accolades on Argentine and Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi after a scintillating performance yesterday in a 3-nil win against Liverpool in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal.

Messi who scored a brace in the game, one of which was a fantastic 30-yard free-kick, has always been mentioned in the same breath with Portuguese striker, Cristiano Ronaldo and many have argued about which among the two can be said to be the greatest in a generation which has no other player come close to their talents and achievements.
The Marseille striker who could not hide his support for the Barcelona forward after their win against his former club stated that there’s no longer any reason to compare the two, suggesting that Messi has clearly proven his superiority beyond any reasonable doubt.

“For the love of football please do not compare him to the No.7 of Juventus anymore!” the Italy international wrote on a post published on his Instagram Stories.
Comparisons between Messi and Ronaldo are unlikely to go away anytime soon, particularly with the pair now level on 600 club goals each during their illustrious careers
