R.Kelly has been hit with extra 11 charge count, charged on the existing 10 charges.
Prosecutors gave the the singer an additional four counts for aggravated criminal sexual assault, two counts for criminal sexual assault by force, two counts on aggravated criminal sexual abuse, three counts for aggravated criminal sexual abuse against a victim who is at least 13 and under 17 at the time.
R.Kelly’s attorney, Steve Greenberg said “R.Kelly was not charged with a new case. He is recharged in an existing case, the same alleged victims and time(a decade ago) it changes nothing”.
R.Kelly is presently free on bail but he is due to appear in court by June 6, 2019.
