Kano Pillars fans went on rampage during the match day 4 of the ongoing NPFL 2019 Playoffs, as their fans invaded the pitch and attacked the central referee, Adebimpe Quadri during their match against Enugu Rangers at the Agege stadium on Monday.
The table toppers had gone ahead earlier in the second half after their captain, Rabiu Ali curled in a freekick. The game took a twist after Rangers scored from the spot despite being two-man down.
The fans angered by the decision of the referee to award a controversial penalty fee seconds to the end of the game, started throwing various objects on the pitch and eventually forced their way into the pitch area, throwing pelting even the VIP area.
The game ended 1-1.
