NIGERIA’S FAITH-BASED FILM, “GOD CALLING” TO BE SCREENED IN FRONT OF INTERNATIONAL AUDIENCE IN US

Nigeria’s faithbased film, “God Calling” boasts as an internationally acclaimed movie as it is set to be screened at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, in America, on July 10th 2019.
The BB Sasore directed movie which centered around the universality of faith that trascends global boundaries and culture will show in front of an international audience, as the first nigerian film pick by the schomburg Center.
Founded in 1925 and named a National Historic Landmark in 2017, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture is one of the world’s leading cultural institutions devoted to the research, preservation, and exhibition of materials focused on African American, African Diaspora, and African experiences. As a research division of The New York Public Library, the Schomburg Center features diverse programming and collections spanning over 11 million items that illuminate the richness of global Black history, arts, and culture.
Markedly, in the polarized political climate in America today that threatens decades of achievements on race and inequality, the Schomburg continues to serve as a critical resource and platform to showcase and preserve the collective experiences of the people of African descent.
