AFCON2019: SALAH OPENS HIS GOAL ACCOUNT AS EGYPT BEAT COD TO QUALIFY FOR LAST 16

Liverpool forward, Mohammed Salah opened his AFCON2019 goal account yesterday with a brilliant finish in the 25th minute in their second group game against Congo which ended in a 2-0 win for the Pharaohs.
Salah also provided the assist for his patriot, Elmohamady to double the lead in the 44th minute and send them to the round of 16.
Earlier in the day, Uganda and Zimbabwe played a 1-1 draw on the other match of the group.
Okwi opened the scoring for the Ugandans while a 41st minute equaliser from Zimbabwe’s Billiat denied Uganda three points and a guaranteed spot in the knockout stage.
