CIVIL SERVICE PROMOTION EXAMINATIONS COMMENCE SEPTEMBER 13

The Federation’s Office of the Head of Civil Service has announced that promotion examinations for junior officials in the civil service will begin on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

This was revealed in a circular signed by the Permanent Secretary, Career Management Office, which was made available  on Tuesday in Abuja.

It was earlier reported that the examination was scheduled to take place across the federation between Tuesday, August 2, and Friday, August 5, 2022.

The public service examination board had previously accepted the payment of a non-refundable examination fee of 3,000 per candidate in an earlier circular.

However, the exam was postponed, according to a fresh circular. “Postponement of the conduct of 2022 combined confirmation and promotion of Grade Level 2 to 6 junior officers,” according to the circular with reference number HCSF/CMO/MP/782/T3.

“This is to tell you that the 2022 Combined Confirmation/Promotion Examination, which was originally scheduled to take place from Tuesday, August 2nd to Friday, August 5th, 2022, has been postponed.”

“The exam has been rescheduled as follows:” a. Portal registration/closure deadline: 19 August 2022 b. Exam date: Tuesday 13°” to Friday 16′ September 2022.
