
UPDATE: FOUR DEAD AS EXPLOSION HITS KOGI RULER’S PALACE
According to reports, an explosion near the palace of The Ohinoyi, Dr. Ado Ibrahim, the supreme monarch of Ebiraland, led to at least four deaths.
According to reports, the explosion happened on Thursday morning around 9 a.m, however, no one has been able to identify the actual cause of the explosion.
The explosion occured just a few meters from the Ohinoyi’s palace at Kuroko Street in Okene.
The state governor, Yahaya Bello had been in Okene since yesterday waiting for the first visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to the state since Bello took over power on January 27, 2016.
President Buhari has already arrived in Kogi State where he is scheduled to hold a town hall meeting, and commission some projects in the Senatorial district before he moves to Lokoja, the state capital to continue the commissioning of other laudable projects.
