
LABOUR PARTY ASKS NIGERIANS TO BE PEACEFUL AS THEY SEEK LEGAL REDRESS
Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in last Saturday’s presidential election, Yusuf Datti-Ahmed; has urged Nigerians to be peaceful as the party seeks legal redreess.
Datti-Ahmed stated this during a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday afternoon while fielding questions from pressmen.
He further added that the party will challenge the result of the election within the stipulated window as stated in the constitution.
When asked that what was the position of the party if their supporters embark on protests, Datti-Ahmed responded that their supporters are free to embark on protests for as long as they remain peaceful.
