LAGOS POLICE BEGINS INVESTIGATION OF DEATH OF YUL EDOCHIE’S SON
The death of Kambilichukwu, the son of well-known actor Yul Edochie, is currently the subject of an inquiry by the Lagos State Police Command.
It was learned that Edochie had informed the authorities and the state about his son’s death.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the state’s police public relations officer, confirmed the development to The Daily Post on Friday and said the issue would be forwarded to the State Criminal Investigation Department today.
16-year-old Kambilichukwu passed away on Thursday morning after being taken to the Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos due to a seizure.
Kambilichukwu died two months after Edochie celebrated his 16th birthday with his wife, Mary Edochie.
Yul had on January 4 celebrated his (son) birthday via his verified Instagram handle, saying, “A very happy 16th birthday to my first son, Kambilinachukwu Leo Yul-Edochie. May God lead and protect you always. With many more happy years. Daddy loves you.”
He reportedly developed a seizure while playing football which led to his death.
