
BREAKING: NIGERIA RECALLS AMBASSADOR TO UNITED KINGDOM; SARAFA ISHOLA
President Bola Tinubu has approved the recall of Nigeria’s ambassador to the United Kingdom, Srafa Isola.
This was contained in a letter dated, August 31st, 2023; and signed bt the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tugar.
Tugar directed Isola to wind down his activitoes in the United Kingdom and return to Nigeria latest by October 31st, 2023.
The letter did not state the reson for Isola’s recall but several complaints have been made in the past about the conduct of Nigerian officials at the High Commission in London.
In some instances, High Commission officials are reported to hawk food items to vistors who come for official business.
