Mohbad, a well-known stage name for Nigerian rapper Ilerioluwa Aloba, was buried in Ikorodu, Lagos State. The singer, 27, passed away on Tuesday.
Mohbad has been buried according to Islamic customs less than 24 hours after his tragic passing, raising questions about the circumstances of his demise.
The late singer performed recently in Ikorodu on Sunday, just two days before his untimely death. The town hall in Ikorodu hosted the performance. He socialised with Zlatan, Seun Kuti, Poco Lee, DJ Kerty, and Cubana Chief Priest among other guests at the concert.
The late singer was renowned for his streetwise and relatable lyrics, which frequently discussed real-world events and struggles.
