BELLA SHMURDA CANCELS CANADA TOUR OVER MOHBAD’S DEATH

Ilerioluwa Aloba, alias MohBad, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 27, has caused singer Abiola Akinbiyi, aka Bella Shmurda, to postpone his upcoming tour of Canada.

He revealed the change on Saturday night through his X (previously Twitter), adding that new dates for the tour, which was initially planned for September, would be disclosed.

Bella Shmurda said, “Due to the recent sad event and unforeseen circumstances, I have had to cancel my Tour of Canada. New dates would be communicated.”

Azeez Fashola, nicknamed Naira Marley, the head of Marlians Record, is a relative of the late Mohbad’s manager, Bella Shmurda, who in an interview advised the deceased to leave the record company.

At the age of 27, Mohbad passed away on Tuesday. The management of Mohbad also issued a formal announcement announcing his demise.

”It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of Promise Oladimeji Aloba PK/A Mohbad (Imole) today, the 12th of September, 2023.

“Mohbad was light until the very end, and as we mourn the loss of the brightness he carried, the family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time. Imole is finally at Peace,” the short statement posted on both his Instagram and X handles read.
