
POPULAR ACTOR SUARA IS DEAD
Pa Oluyemi Lawrence Adeyemi, a veteran Nollywood actor best known for his role as Pa Suara in the hit TV series Super Story, has died, his family announced on Monday in a statement signed by his son, Adeyemi Adetoun.
“It is with heavy hearts but with total submission to God that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Oluyemi Lawrence Adeyemi (Suara), who went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 24th, 2023,” the family said.
The statement revealed that the actor passed away on Sunday. However, the circumstances surrounding his death were not disclosed.
The family urged the public to respect their privacy as they grieve and added that burial arrangements would be communicated soon.
“We are consoled because we know that he has gone to rest. We kindly request that the family be allowed some privacy in this time of grief. More details about the burial will be communicated soon,” the statement also read.
Pa Suara became a household name after starring in ‘Oh Father! Oh, Daughter!’, the beloved first season of Super Story, a long-running TV series from Wale Adenuga Productions.
On the programme, he starred as an ambitious husband torn between two women, played by Bukky Wright and Sola Sobowale.
