UCL: MILAN MANAGER HAILS CHUKWUEZE AFTER DORTMUND DEFEAT
AC Milan manager, Stefano Pioli has praised Samuel Chukwueze after his impressive display in Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.
Chukwueze opened his goal account for the Serie A giants in the 3-1 defeat at the Stadio Giuseppe Meaza.
The winger went past two defenders inside Dortmund’s box before unleashing a shot which sailed into the net.
The 24-year-old had a good game before he was subbed off late in the encounter.
“I am happy; finally, he was decisive in the offensive phase. There are important signs of growth from him that will facilitate his integration,” Pioli said after the game.
AC Milan sits at the bottom of Group F table with five points from five following the loss.
The Rossoneri will now need to win at Newcastle in a final group game and hope Dortmund stop PSG from having any chance of advancing to the Round of 16.
