TESCOM DEBUNKS RECRUITMENT POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA
The Chairman, Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Mrs. Victoria M. Peregrino has called on the general public and particularly, individuals seeking employment in the Lagos State Teaching Service to disregard all information trending on social media lately relating to the recruitment of biological children of either serving or retired Teachers that bear the name of his/her parent with evidence of service records.
Mrs. Peregrino stated unequivocally that the purported information is fake, fraudulent and does not emanate from the Commission.
She reiterated that all recruitments into the Lagos State Teaching Service have always been done through the existing Employment Portal of the Commission whenever the need arises, warning job seekers to be wary of fraudsters and impostors, as the Lagos State Government does not engage in clandestine recruitment exercises.
The Chairman, therefore, implored Lagosians to be wary of unverified information posted by scammers who are only interested in depriving them of their hard-earned money through dubious means.
