JUST IN: JAMB RELEASES 2024 UTME RESULTS
The results of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination have been made public by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, or JAMB.
In 118 towns and over 700 locations nationwide, more than 1.94 million candidates enrolled and took the test.
The UTME results were revealed on Monday at a press conference held at the board’s headquarters in Bwari, Abuja, by JAMB Registrar Prof. Ishaq Oloyede.
The test ended on Monday, April 29, 2024, after it started on Friday, April 19.
The board had previously stated that it had decided to postpone the UTME results release by a few days in order to give itself enough time to thoroughly review the results and guarantee their integrity and credibility. This was done to make sure that there were no questions or areas of uncertainty regarding the results, especially in relation to the issues of impersonation, mixed biometrics, and other malpractices.
