REMO STARS CAN WIN NPFL TITLE – OGUNMODEDE
Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede has claimed his side is in a good position to win the Nigeria Premier Football League title this season.
The Ikenne club moved within one point of leaders, Rangers, after claiming a 2-1 home win against Rivers United on Monday.
Rangers head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu has played down his side’s title chances despite their leadership position on the table.
Ogunmodede said the title is in Remo Stars’ view and they will fight hard to win it.

”I think it (the title) is in view because my friend (Fidelis Ilechukwu) said they are still building, so, we are trying to capitalise on the fact that they are building and we are trying to get the trophy,” Ogunmodede told the club’s media.
The Sky Blue Stars finished in second position in the NPFL last season.
