TRANSFER: I’M NOT CONVINCED OSIMHEN WILL JOIN PSG – DI MARZIO
Renowned football transfer guru, Gianluca Di Marzio, has revealed that Napoli’s Victor Osimhen is poised for a switch to Premier League clubs Arsenal or Chelsea during the upcoming summer transfer window, despite strong interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Nigerian striker recently extended his contract with Napoli until 2026, featuring a release clause estimated at 130 million euros.
PSG eyes Osimhen as a potential successor to Kylian Mbappé, whose departure from the club seems imminent.
Osimhen boasts Ligue 1 experience from his time at Lille, where he made 27 appearances and netted 13 goals in the 2019-2020 season.
However, Di Marzio suggests that Osimhen’s preference lies with Chelsea or Arsenal, rather than returning to Ligue 1.
With PSG as frontrunners due to their rapport with Napoli, Osimhen’s focus remains on a potential move to the Premier League, where he aims to showcase his talent on a new stage.

“I’m not so convinced that Osimhen goes to PSG, he has already played in France with Lille, logical, PSG is something else and would allow you to face matches like the Champions League semi-final, but his preference was and remains England,” Di Marzio said in quotes relayed by Spazio Napoli.
“Chelsea and Arsenal are two clubs that could grab Osimhen.”
