AMOTEKUN CORPS ARRESTS 48 CRIME SUSPECTS IN ONDO
Men from the Amotekun Corps, an agency of the Ondo State Security Network, have apprehended 48 suspected criminals for a variety of crimes they may have committed throughout the state over the past week.
The two female suspects were taken into custody on charges of armed robbery, attempted murder, kidnapping, burglary, and housebreaking, as well as cultism, stealing, disobeying the legislation against open grazing, and assault.
A generating set, some clothing materials, false dollar notes, two cars, a live goat, and cables from an electric transformer are among the several exhibits that were taken from the suspects and put on display.
Speaking about the recent Eid-el-Kabir festival, Adeleye mentioned that the men of the Amotekun corps were on guard and vigilant throughout the state, ensuring that there were few recorded crimes at that time.
He issued a warning to anyone with criminal intentions to either stop or leave the state because men from the corps would catch them.
