Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, has faulted the actions of Nigerians who shared false information, claiming veteran actor Olu Jacobs was dead.
The rumours of Jacobsā death had earlier spread online on Sunday without official confirmation.
Reacting to the news spreading on social media, Henshaw, who is also the Director of Communications for the Actors Guild of Nigeria, wrote on X.com,Ā āHow you people put up RIP posts about someone who is still alive, year in and year out, is very sickening.
āYou do this to this great man and his family all the time! It is all shades of wrong! Stop, for goodness sake! Uncle Olu Jacobs is alive!ā
Replying to an X.com user who had asked where the false information originated from, Henshaw stated that some individuals had started calling Olu Jacobsā wife, Joke, over the incident.
