
RENOWNED NOLLYWOOD ACTRESS FUNKE AKINDELE PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO LAGOS STATE FIRE SERVICE
The renowned Nollywood Actress and CEO of Funke Akindele Network (FAAN), Funke Akindele, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service at its office in Alausa.
Speaking during the visit, Akindele expressed her desire to collaborate and work with the Fire Service, announcing plans to incorporate fire prevention themes in her upcoming film aimed at reducing the incidence of fire outbreaks in the State.
Responding, Mrs. Margaret Adeseye thanked her for the courtesy visit, highlighting the significant investments in the Fire Service by the Lagos State Government towards ensuring that the lives and properties of all residents in the State are adequately protected.
She emphasised the immense investments by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s Administration in the Agency by equipping it to efficiently carry out its duties of saving lives and properties, setting a standard for other states to follow.
The Nollywood Actress, Funke Akindele also paid a similar visit to the Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations, the Agency’s parent Ministry where she was received by the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Sesan Ogundeko.
The PS expressed optimism about a fruitful collaboration between the Fire Service and FAAN, praising the Actress for being a positive brand and role model to many youths.
