JUST IN: SENATE APPROVES NOMINATION OF TUNJI BELLO AS FCCPC BOSS
On Tuesday, July 23, the Senate gave its approval to Dr. Olatunji Bello’s nomination to lead the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) as its chief executive officer and executive vice chairman.
The confirmation came after the Committee on Trade and Investment’s report was discussed in plenary and was introduced by Senator Sadiq Suleiman (APC-Kwara North).
Additionally, on Tuesday, July 23, the Senate gave its approval to Dr. Jobson Eseodion Ewalefoh’s nomination to serve as the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission’s (ICRC) director general.
The decision came after the report of the Committee on Trade and Investment, which was reviewed and approved at plenary under the direction of Senator Sadiq (Kwara North).
