PARIS 2024: KALU TOPS D’TIGRESS’ SCORING CHART
D’Tigress point guard, Ezinne Kalu leads the team’s scoring chart with 58 points during the group stage of the women’s basketball event at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games.
Kalu , who was named the 2019 AfroBasket Most Valuable Player (MVP) top the chart following her excellent displays during the three matches played against Australia, France and Canada in Group C.
The point guard scored 18 points against Australia, 19 points in Nigeria’s loss to France and recorded 21 points in the clash against Canada.
Kalu’s scoring prowess is a testament of her passion and resilience to deliver better performance for her team in Paris 2024.
She was also one of the team’s better performers three years in Tokyo.
