Julián Álvarez has officially signed with Atlético Madrid, leaving Manchester City.
Atlético Madrid fans are excited to welcome “La Araña” (The Spider) to his new home.
A post on the club’s X account on Monday disclosed this.
This move marks a significant transfer for the La Liga side, as they gain a versatile and dynamic forward in Álvarez.
His time at Manchester City was marked by key contributions, and now he looks to make his mark in Spain with Atlético.
Álvarez, born on January 31, 2000, in Calchín, Argentina, is a versatile forward known for his technical skills and goal-scoring ability.
In January 2022, he joined Man City, where he adapted well despite strong competition for playing time. Álvarez now moves to Madrid, where he’ll look to further his career under Diego Simeone in La Liga.
