
CAYKUR RIZESPOR TERMINATE AZUBUIKE OKECHUKWU’S CONTRACT
Turkish Super Lig club Caykur Rizespor on Thursday announced they have terminated the contract of former U-23 Eagles captain Azubuike Okechukwu.
The 27-year-old spent just one season with the Black Sea, making 14 league appearances.
Rizespor made the announcement through a statement on their official website.
“We parted ways with our professional football player Azubuike by mutual agreement,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
“We would like to thank Okechukwu Godson Azubuike for his contributions to our team and wish him success in his future career.”
The defensive midfielder has spent majority of his professional career in Turkey.
The player once played for Yeni Malatyaspor, Istanbul Basaksehir and Sivasspor.
