LAGOS GOVT SET TO CONDUCT Y2024 TRADE TEST FOR ARTISANS OCTOBER 17

The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education through the State’s Examinations Board has announced the commencement of year 2024 trade test for Artisans.

This was made known in a statement signed by the Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Adebayo Orunsolu on Wednesday.

The Statement reads in part, “The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, through the Lagos State Examinations Board, wishes to notify the general public, especially Artisans in the State that the Conduct of the Year 2024 Trade Test has been scheduled for Tuesday, 15th and Thursday, 17th October, 2024.”

Meanwhile, all duly registered Artisans should note that the theoretical aspect of the Test will be conducted on Tuesday, 15th October, 2024 at Government Junior College, Agege and the practical test will be conducted on Thursday,17th October, 2024 at different designated Centres in the State as stated below:

1. Vocational Training Centre, Agency for Mass Education, Agege, Lagos.

2. Lagos State Waterways Authority ( LASWA), Falomo Jetty, Ikoyi.

3. Technical College, Ikotun.

4. Skills Acquisition Centre, Ikotun.

5. Skills Acquisition

Centre , Egbeda

6. Grano Institute at Onimolade, Haruna, Ifako Ijaiye.

7. De Food Institute,

Seliat Bus Stop,

Abule Odu, Idimu

8. Epe and Ibeju/ Lekki axis will have Epe as centre for the Trade Test.

Therefore, all concerned candidates and other interested artisans who are yet to register for the Trade Test should take note of the dates set aside for the conduct of the examination as excuses for failure to participate in the two -day examination will not be accepted from any quarters after the examination might have been conducted.

Candidates are also to note that they must participate in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the test on the two days set aside for the test.
