The purpose of the tour, which was headed by Mrs. Adetutu Ososanya, Permanent Secretary of PMO, was to assess LASURA’s advancement and pinpoint areas in need of development in order to better fit with the urban renewal goal of the Lagos State government.
When the team arrived, Tpl. Animashun Oladimeji, General Manager of LASURA, gave a summary of the organization’s contribution to fulfilling Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Plus Agenda objectives.
He outlined the main goal of LASURA, which is to eliminate slums by 5% every year throughout the state, highlighting the significance of both the resettlement of displaced people and sustainable urban regeneration.
