HALIMA ABUBAKAR FINALLY APOLOGIZES TO APOSTLE SULEMAN
Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has finally apologized and stepped down from her spat with well-known Nigerian cleric Apostle Johnson Suleman.
Halima Abubakar apologized on her Instagram page to Apostle Suleman for disparaging him and caused him and his family a lot of trouble.
The actress asked for the cleric’s pardon in a letter addressed to Apostle Johnson Suleman, in which she confessed all of the false accusations she had made against him.
Additionally, she apologized profusely for damaging his reputation, believing that her letter would somewhat mend the harm.
Apostle Johnson Suleman and Halima Abubakar’s drama began in 2022.
After Halima’s confrontation with Apostle Suleman, she was sick. Additionally, her family used social media to urge the clergyman to avoid her.
Many, however, claimed that the actress was suffering from an autoimmune condition. Halima refuted the allegations by sharing her medical report, which was dismissed because many people said it was inconclusive.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria suspended her a few days ago for disparaging her coworkers and other well-known Nigerians.
The body said in a statement posted on their official Instagram page, “Indefinite Suspension of Halima Abubakar,” that a set panel had conducted a thorough investigation and found the actress guilty of the charges.
She was charged with having extramarital affairs with a prominent member of the community and defaming her coworkers and clients.
Part of the letter reads”I admit that I made false allegations against you and also regret my action and the damage I caused to you, your wife, Dr. Lizzy Suleman, your family and the leaders of the Omega Fire Ministry.
With this letter I humbly ask for forgiveness recognising that my apology cannot undi the harm, pain and distress I caused and I ask you find a place in your heart to forgive me as I was not thinking right then…”
