
SOUTH KOREAN STAR, SONG JAE-RIM PASSES AWAY AT 39
On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, South Korean actor Song Jae-Rim, who was most famous for his performance in the K-drama The Moon Embracing the Sun, was discovered dead at his Seoul flat. His age was 39.
The discovery was confirmed by Seoul’s Seongdong Police Station, which also reported that no proof of foul play has been discovered thus far.
“At this time, there is no indication of foul play,” a police station spokesperson said.
According to the Korean media outlet Soompi, a two-page note was found at the scene.
The cause of his death has not been made public as of the time this article was filed.
Song Jae-Rim, who debuted with Actresses in 2009, became well-known for playing Kim Jae-woon’s devoted bodyguard in The Moon Embracing the Sun with Kim Soo-Hyun.
