A young man identified as Oyeme Eguari has been reportedly killed in a suspected cult-related attack in Abbi, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The incident, which occurred on December 31, 2024, during a crossover night celebration, cast a shadow over New Year festivities in the community.
Eyewitnesses told newsmen that the victim believed to be in his 20s, was shot dead by suspected members of the Supreme Vikings Confraternity at a beer parlour on Ejakita Street, Abbi.
A source from the community revealed, “He was at the beer parlour having fun with friends when members of the Vikings Confraternity stormed the venue and shot him.
