FUNKE AKINDELE SHARES HEARTWARMING MOTHER’S DAY MESSAGE FROM HER TWIN SONS (VIDEO)

Nollywood actress and award-winning filmmaker Funke Akindele shared the heartwarming Mother’s Day message she received from her twin boys.
In a video posted on her Snapchat page, Funke receives two separate cards from her boys, who celebrated her on Mother’s Day. One of the twins describes her as kind, beautiful, and helpful, expressing his love for her; the other declares Funke the best mother in the world.
“Happy Mother’s Day! I love you
You are kind
You are beautiful
You are helpful
Love from Zach”.
The second twin wrote, “Dear mummy, you are the best mummy in the world”.
A few weeks ago, Funke responded to a fan who suggested she give her twins a new sibling. Funke joked that she had registered the fan’s name and would find his address so he could babysit the new baby.
Funke shares her twins with her ex-husband, JJC Skillz. In 2022, JJC stunned the public when he announced the end of their seven-year marriage, admitting that they had been facing issues. He revealed that Funke had asked him to leave her home and refused to have any form of communication with him.
Regarding their separation, Funke told Legit.ng in an interview that their visions and dreams for their marriage no longer aligned, and despite efforts to reconcile, things didn’t work out, leading to their decision to part ways.
Funke was also married to Adeola Kehinde Oloyede in 2013, but they divorced in May 2016, citing irreconcilable differences.
Reflecting on her past marriages, Funke suggested that she had been pressured into marriage, urging young women not to rush into it. She spoke about how her first marriage ended badly, became a topic of public discussion, and led to the loss of several endorsement deals, leaving her emotionally affected.
A year ago, Funke responded to a Twitter user who recommended she remarry. The user suggested she should do so in 2024, pointing out her age, and Funke thanked him for the advice, humorously noting that he was the wedding planner
