
SPEEDING CAR KILLS THREE CHILDREN, INJURES THEIR FATHER IN DELTA
A speeding Mercedes Benz GLK350 has claimed the lives of three children from the same family and left their father critically injured, fighting for his life at the General Hospital in Abraka, located in the Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
The tragedy occurred on Monday night along the Old Benin/Abraka road.
Reports indicate that the vehicle was traveling at an extremely high speed when it lost control, crashing into a shop and killing the three children instantly.
The father suffered serious injuries, while the driver, who is suspected to be a yahoo boy, fled the scene.
The injured father is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, has not yet responded to phone calls seeking confirmation of the incident.
