
146 SUSPECTS ARRESTED AS FCT POLICE RAID CRIMINAL HIDEOUTS ACROSS ABUJA
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has apprehended 146 suspects in a series of coordinated raids on criminal hideouts and notorious black spots across Abuja.
Police intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the operation, conducted on Tuesday, involved officers from various divisions—Wuse, Gwagwalada, Kubwa, Kabusa, Nyanya, Mpape, Utako, Maitama, Apo, Tungan Maje, and Zuba—as well as the tactical Scorpion Squad.
The raids focused on high-risk areas such as Gidan Drama in Zuba and Anagada. During the operation, officers recovered five cutlasses and several dried leaves believed to be Indian hemp, along with other illegal substances.
All 146 suspects are currently in custody, undergoing profiling and interrogation.
According to police sources, those found culpable will be charged in court once investigations are completed.
