
TWO KILLED, SIX INJURED IN OYO-OGBOMOSO ROAD CRASH
Two individuals lost their lives in a road accident that occurred along the Oyo-Ogbomoso highway.
The single-vehicle crash happened on Friday. Reports indicate that six others sustained varying degrees of injuries.
According to sources, the accident involved a commercial Nissan vehicle that collided with rocks used as barricades by a construction company near the Ipeba area.
The incident, which took place around 7:00 am, claimed the lives of the driver and a female passenger, both yet to be identified.
Officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Oolo Unit, were said to have responded swiftly to the scene.
The injured victims were taken to Bowen University Teaching Hospital for treatment, while the remains of the deceased were deposited at the morgue of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Teaching Hospital.
