
BAALE OF OLUYOLE ESTATE, CHIEF YEMI OGUNYEMI PASSES AWAY
The Baale of Oluyole Estate in Ibadan South West local government area, Chief Yemi Ogunyemi, has passed away.
The veteran journalist, who had a long career with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), died in the early hours of Wednesday.
Until his death, Chief Ogunyemi was a prominent member of the Council of Traditional Baales of Ibadanland, playing a vital role in promoting grassroots development and cultural preservation.
Tributes have begun to pour in from community members, journalists, and traditional leaders across the state, praising his contributions to media, community service, and cultural heritage.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced by the family.
