Panic erupted on Wednesday afternoon when Kolade Alabi, chairman of Bariga Local Government and head of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), collapsed unexpectedly while speaking at an All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders’ meeting held at the party’s secretariat on Acme Road, Lagos.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:10 p.m., sparking concern among attendees. He was promptly revived and taken to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.
Further details on his current condition remain undisclosed, but party members expressed relief at his prompt recovery and wish him a speedy return to good health.
