
LAGOS KICKS OFF WORLD FOOD DAY CELEBRATION WITH ROAD WALK, PROMISES STRONGER PARTNERSHIP WITH FARMERS

The Lagos State Government, has flagged off activities to commemorate this year’s World Food Day with a sensitization Road Walk aimed at promoting awareness about the state’s agricultural potential and the need to build a sustainable food system.
The Road Walk took place today, Wednesday, marking the second day of a series of events leading up to the grand finale on October 16 at the Police College Parade Ground, Ikeja. Other lined-up activities include the Lagos Agric Scholars Quiz competition to engage young minds on agriculture and food systems.
